Hello superb blog! Does running a blog similar to this require a massive amount work? I have no knowledge of programming however I was hoping to start my own blog in the near future. what a great and honorable site this is. i have known mr. dan vandermolen for litle over 20 years. i want to thank each and every one of you for the sacrifices you have made then and now. my father, william e. herb,united states navy 1950-1954 tought me as a young boy that there was no higher honor than serving protecting your country, especially during wartime. im 45, in 1969 i was wearing a diaper, you and our friend dan were simply doing as your government asked you to. i want to thank all united states veterans for all you have done , for myself and my family as well as all americans who live free in this great country. i dont know why the 2011 united states does not do more for its own veterans, and does so much for people who have never protected this country. with heartfelt thanks.

Although listed in the full roster of 700 plus I am not listed as a member of the 2nd plt. I was a shake and bake and hit the field at Pike. Made the trip to Tam Ky and was a squad ldr there. I had steve erikson, jose gonzales, i think ted gagacki and his ag. Couple others I can't remember. Was medevaced from Tam Ky to 312 evac in ChuLai. I went back to the field sometime in july. Lunn was in my plt too - was killed by cluster grenade and number of us were wounded too. Was plt sgt til mid november and then was a co rep on log pad until I left Mar 70.

For more than 22-years the Kitchen Table Gang Trust has been helping veterans and our troops deployed overseas.
The Kitchen Table Gang Trust is a rag-tag bunch of military types trying to make life a little more pleasant for our hospitalized veterans at VA Hospitals throughout the United States and our soldiers & Marines deployed overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan.

These guys are doing some wonderful things for our veterans and our troops overseas, and it all started with a poker game. (They donated a portion of the pot to help veterans and our active-duty troops – are you doing anything that cool with your Texas Hold ‘Em obsession, hmm?) These great guys will tell you all about it on their site, and they’ve got lots of suggestions on how you can express your gratitude to our brave men and women deployed overseas. Who knows, they might even be able to help you!
