Things had been pretty calm in the great state of Texas ever since the Alamo. Well, we did have a few things like the Waco house warming, those dudes out in West Texas who didn't know that having six wives was much worse than having only one, and maybe Galveston getting destroyed by an occasional hurricane. But by in large not much has happened in these parts, until the arrival of the Rat.
As soon as he moved in we had record rainfall amounts. I guess we could give him credit for breaking the drought, but those folks seen floating dowm the river on the roofs of their houses towards the Gulf wouldn't vote for it. Them we had not just one, but SIX earth quakes. Texas had no faults until the Rat showed up. Now its the snow. Already we have had one blizzard and a couple of smaller snowfalls that added together busts all known records of snowfall in Texas by several inches. Now they are predicting more for Tuesday. Even the freaking geese don't know what to do. I saw a gaggle of them flying North the other day. They usually don't do that until April, but I guess they figured out that this was not the place to be with the Rat in town.
