Believe it or not, while I was typing away, who should call me but TEX!!!!!! Lynn had to break out the paddles and get my heart beating again, (what little heart I have). In any case, Tex is now sober. He went on a toot after the Horns loss to Bama and it wasn't until yesterday that the Texas Highway Patrol found him sleeping it off in a gully between Omaha and Longview. I wouldn't worry about him though, he is a tough ole bird and been through this many times before.

I am extremely glad to hear from Tex. As everyone knows, he just about lives in Lousiana and Harry spends a lot of his spare time insuring he doesn't come across the border. Tex is the only other person living east of the Sabine river. He lives so close to Lousiana that half the music he plays is Cajun. In fact, half the time he sounds like Bo Jangles when he talks. I almost bought some land over near Tyler and then Harry would have had some help. As it turns out I will be putting in an offer on 12 acres on Richland Chambers Lake in Eureka which is near Corsicana. But I digress. Now it is up to Lil Cowboy, Tex Caufield and me to keep Tex East of the Sabine but West of the Lousiana state line.

I take exception to the slanderous talk of 1sg. Tex Dilday. I always, ALWAYS, knew where I was. I don't know why this man would spread these lies about me. I took him under my wing and made him what he is today. Now that I think about it, forget that last sentence !!!

Got an email from Lobo this morning, his test came back negitive, he goes for another test in 90 days. Keep good thoughts everyone.

IT IS TIME TO PAY DUES EVERYONE. I WILL EMAIL OUT THE ADDRESS TO MAIL TO. REMEMBER WHAT WE VOTED ON AT THE REUNION, DUES ARE VOLUNTARY AND THERE IS A $25.00 MINIMUM, BUT NO MAXIUM. ALL YOU GUYS WHO WERE JUMPING IN WITH THREE FIGURE AMOUNTS, I HOPE YOU REMEMBER.

AS A REMINDER, THE MONEY COLLECTED IS USED TO FRONT MONEY FOR THE REUNIONS, PAY FOR FLOWERS WHEN NEEDED AND ANY OTHER THING AGREED TO BY THE COMPANY MEMBERS.
