Does anyone remember one day when some brass was coming to the field from brigade or battalion and instead of digging him some shelter some wise ass decided to "blow a hole" for his shelter and set off some dynamite to hasten the process and did not yell fire in the hole. I remember a lot of dirt in the sky and hit the ground. I remember a rock hit my right knee and our kit carson scout,SUM had his 16 broken in half .Someone out there surely rembers that.
