I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY TO SEE THAT TEX HAS SURFACED ON THE BLOG. THIS IS MORE THAN I CAN SAY ABOUT DANNY BRIGGS. BY THE WAY TEX, WHAT IS ALL THAT WIERD STUFF IN YOUR BLOG, SOME KIND OF CODED MESSAGE?
LYNN AND I ARE STILL LOOKING. WE ARE GOING BACK ON TWO WE HAVE LOOKED AT BEFORE. ONE NEAR LEITH (GOD HELP ME) AND ONE WEST OF WACO IN A LITTLE PLACE CALLED HICO. THERE ARE JUST THINGS ABOUT THEM WE WILL NEED TO CHANGE OR BUILD TO MAKE THEM THE WAY WE WANT THEM. IF WE ARE GOING TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY, WE ARE GOING TO MAKE SURE IT IS WHAT WE WANT.
NOW TO ADDRESS MY PHONE CONVERSATION WITH THE POSSIBLY FORMER 1SG DILDAY. MY DOG IS OLD AND DEAL. SHE IS GOING ON 14 YRS. OLD IT IS KINDA HARD TO STOP TALKING TO HER. <p><font size="4">Talked with the Rat last week, he is still running around Texas house hunting. That could take some time with out someone to help him find his way. He did tell me of some places he had found but there was always one little thing wrong with them all. Then as we were talking he yelled at his dog, them he came back on the phone and said, " I don't know why I yell at him he's deaf ". Well I was unable to help him with that question, I don't know why anyone would yell at a deaf dog either. As all you guy's know, Rat yells at a lot of people as well as animals for no reason. I can only guess it makes him happy. Well anyway, he is our CO and ya gota love him, who else could put up with this outfit. </font></p>

I do not understand why Mr.Briggs made my life miserable calling at all times of the day and night complaining about his Blog problems if he aint agonna use it. If he would spend less time in front of the television and at Subway, he would propabaly have more time to get on the blog and keep the company informed of his activeties what little they are.

It is good to see the "Great Redneck Leader" back on the blog. It would be nice if he wrote more than four sentences though.

Would be nice if some of you other sorry asses would get on the blog once in a while, we can't carry the load all the time. Maybe "Big Jim Maish" could lend a few words of wisdom once in a while.

THE "CASH FOR CLUNKERS" ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING REAL GOOD - IT GOT RID OF MUCHO YOMAMA OBAMA BUMPER STICKERS.

I have checked with an A Company member who was there after us and he knows that Phillip Kallas was in the Company. He was not there very long and went with some other guys to Bastogne. The Guy who vouched for him is a guy named Barry Gregorich. If he says it is true. 't know when it will happen again

He and some others are planning a reunion at the "Wall" in 2011. I will post info as it comes available.

Tex finally surfaced on Sunday via phone. Don't know when it will happen again. Tryed to contact Danny Mabe with no luck, so I do not know his status.

Danny made all kinds of noise because he could not get on the blog and now that he can, he doesn't

I see "Lil Cowboy" is at it again. As I scroll back, I see he is casting aspersions on my character again. I am going to take the high road and not lower myself to his level, however, have you have seen the inside of his barn? I am not saying its redneck or anything.

I am really glad to see Tex back with the living. I HAVE CALLED HIM A COUPLE OF TIMES WITH NO LUCK OR RETURN CALL!

I am still not an official Texan yet. We put in an offer on 13.6 acres w/ stocked pond, barn, trees and a seasonal creek. We will know in a day or so if it is going to float. This place is just east of Quitman, Texas. A little history here. The house is owned by CMDR. Charles Stackhouse, Navy (Ret) and a guest in the Hanoi Hilton for 6 years. He is a very interesting man.

I have a back up house over near Lil Cowboy. He really wants me to move over close to him. This other place is 13.4 acres, has a wet weather stream, an RV barn, equipment shed and a work shop. I would have to have a pond dug out. the only problem is the place across the road looks the inside of Keith's barn, only with goats. If we do not end up with one of these, we are going to back off a little while and probably look for land or some place with a wreck of a home and land and buy it, tear the home out and build.

Harry if I get any further east, I will be in Lousiana.

DANNY BRIGGS WELCOME TO THE 21ST CENTURY. I thought Danny would be the only one who would have touse the guest book for ever. Just to show you what kind of a guy Danny is, he has yet to call or email me with what the problem was. I spent hours and hours working with him attempting to get him squared away. I think maybe it was something really DUMB and he doesn't want to let me know.

I hope some of you have tryed to contact Danny Mabe and let him know your thinking of him. I believe I am going to have to go to Florida and kick his ass. I understand he is not doing what he is supposed too.

Damn, its good to hear from you again Tex! I thought we were gonna have to send Harry's Louisiana National Guard in to East Texas to find you! Welcome back Brother! The Rat may be about to nest somewhere not far from us, and we need to have a good old fashion house-warming for him. Of course the Rat will think we are about to start his fireplace for him, but maybe Lynn knows what that is!

Howdy, from The Republic, I know it's been awhile since I have posted on the blog, things have been a little crazy around here. With any luck at all it will all be back to normal soon, what ever that is. I am glad to see that swwow is happy with her new job. I knew she would be because she is in Texas now. I also see the Rat is getting closer and closer to my AO, and Little Cowboy can see again. What a pair they make, one stays lost all the time and the other couldn't see where they were lost at. Oh well God does take care of little kids and lost people. Just had to get back on here and say hey to all my brothers. Hope all is well with everyone.

It was good to see that Danny Briggs finally managed to navigate his way through one of the most simple web sites ever created. It HAS to be simple because he who "created" it is kind of simple too. But I guess we have to consider that Briggs was trained by the very same person who created this web site so what can we expect? Speaking of "The Creator"...He called this morning and for the first time since I've got to know him he admitted to be turning circles. Everytime he enters the borders of Texas it is like a hurricane turning in a counter-clockwise rotation. He has driven all over the area that would be about a fourth of the land mass of Texas with Dallas centered in it. I hear that everytime he passes through a small town they put out banners that proclaim how many times the Rat has been to their town in the past three months. And he is always entering town from the same direction. Poor Lynn is having to ride with him. I'm sure she gave up on trying to get him to make a "right" turn a long time ago. If I was guessing I'd say that the Rat is left-handed. I've heard that lost people always turn circles in the direction of their dominate hands. There is also a rumor that the Rat stopped in Mineola, TX and tried to buy a Hybrid car. He tried to trade his Dodge pickup in on it during the "Cash For Clunkers" program. The dealer was heard to say that although it was indeed a "clunker" it had too many miles on it for a vehicle of its age and no one would believe the odometer reading.

an old attorney friend of mine told me this story:
the Chinese gov had a good idea mucho yrs ago to start a new retail business. they built huge stores all over China and named the company the "Great Wall of Mart". starting to catch on yet you non-redneck boys?
next question was how to get "more" money out of the Americans. Aaah-soo (no reference to Rat), they created a make believe American family named the Waltons and started building huge retail stores all across America.
