I do not want to be spitefull here, but if wasn't for me , Harry would not have gotten anything over the last year or so. It was my JUJU stick that did it for him. I do not hunt, however I will if asked too consume the fruits of someone elses labor. I have no problem with real hunters. I know not about Ole ted, however if true he is on my shit list.
John, as I write this blog, my bride is on the phone with the real estate agent putting in an offer on that 27 acres. I know I was not born in Texas, however I got here as fast as i could.

please do a search to learn more of ted nugent's draft dodger history. its not pretty. now he claims to have the "spirit of the wild". when he had an opportunity to be a real outdoor's man, he was a sorry coward. I've emailed him in the past telling him exactly what I think of him - no response.

as for as teaching anything to the ratster about hunting, I think it'll be a real waste of time to attempt to do so. besides, he would never get lynn's permission.

I'm packing for another trip to sanderson, tx. to prepare for bowhunting mule deer in october. my boss has 1800 acres there. its beautiful hilly country with several canyons. has mucho mulies but very few whitetails.

Well, Val & Lynn have discovered paradise in Bosque County. quiltwork of small towns and farms and ranches. I hope they settle there as it is a serene place. Bosque County is half way between Ft. Worth and Waco, south of the Brazos River with Texas FM 174 as the northeast southwest access and FM 6 as the northwest to southeast. The property that Lynn and Val really like is within two miles of one of the small ranches, within the "bend" of Steele Creek, our family had owned when I was growing up.

I had been in Bosque County for my high school reunion in Kopperl back in April when I attended my niece's wedding. During that trip, I met my older sister in the gas station Val mentioned. She introduced me to the owner and told me she was planning to work there to qualify for social security, as she had spent 45 years as a junior high school teacher between the towns Walnut Springs and Kopperl. I thought as they were passing the gas station, they might just stop by and say hello, since they might be living in the neighborhood. My sister had changed her mind and decided to substitute teach in the area, and she had failed to tell me of her change of heart. You can see what is coming here... no good deed goes unpunished. The high school girl working the register did not know my sister, or much else...surprise.

Then I told Val that my sister's husband had a 10,000 acre ranch near Walnut Springs which he had "game fenced" for deer hunting and exotic game. The high school girl in the gas told him that Ted Nugent hunted on a large ranch near Walnut Springs. Val asked if Ted Nugent hunted on my brother-in-law's place. I said yes they were friends and Ted had hunted there a number of years. Val said he didn't approve of enclosed hunting places or those who pay money to hunt there. I am not sure I like game fenced places either, but 10,00 acres is alot of space for critters to roam. Hunting in Texas and elsewhere is either conducted on land you own, lease, or borrow from friends, unless there is state land available for hunting. Harry, how about a little help in assisting Val in adjusting to life in Texas and hunting. Hunting leases or paying per hunt, I'm not sure the difference.

Finally I don't know Ted Nugent, but I think he is a hoot. No matter how or what he hunts, he publicly defends gun rights, and that makes him OK with me. Hey troopers, reinforcements please, I live in the People's Republic of New Jersey, what do I know?

Let me tell you a little story.


Lynn and I are looking for property in Texas as meny of you know. Well as things sometime happen, I ended up looking at some property in Morgan, Texas. Now what you do not know, is that John Martin grew up in Morgan, Texas. In fact, he tells me that he got his first job pumping gas at the ESSO station in Morgan. When I called him up during my travels and told him where i was looking at some acreage is when he tells me he grew up in Morgan.
The day I go out to look at the property, John tells me his sister is married and lives close by in Walnut Springs. To make a long story a little shorter, John tells me to look up his sister who is working at the same station so she can qualify for and doubl dip into Social Security. He tells me to look her up and say hello.
After Lynn and I get through looking at the property, we go into Morgan proper. one light, population 486. John tells me the old Esso station is no longer there, however it should not be a problem because there is , only one station in town. We get into town and there are three stations. I stop at the first one and they never heard of John's sister. I go to the next one and determine it is what once was the old Esso station. The original being torn down and a new station built on the same spot. Well I ask the girl behind the counter if John's sister works there and she never heard of her. BUT! no problem, she will call her mom who knows everyone in the area. Well mom is not home. Lynn and I leave. I call John and tell him I could not find his sister. Now comes the good part.
While I am running around looking for the not to be found sister. John tells me, OH! i spoke with my sister and she deceided not to work there, she could make more money substitute teaching. MY FRIEND JOHN.

The Cowboy did it again. He took his son Cody, SWWOW/CS, a Navy puke named Larry and my bloved self to dinner and a Rangers game against the hated Redsox. The Rangers did extremely well until the top of the 9th and then they absolutly fell apart and lost. It was HOT in the stadium, but we had a good time any way. The Rangers won last night so the most beloved team in all baseball history, the YANKEES are now 7.5 games ahead of the hated Sox. Thanks Rangers.

Just so you know, I spoke with Danny a few days ago. He had jst got home from the hospital. Before he went in, he was losing wait, not eating or drinking. Well, Evelyn figured he was heading to the big LZ in the sky. When they checked him out, they found some nasty crap in his Bronciel (spl) tubes. They sucked it out and he sounds like a new man. He ain't ready to go away yet.

OH! I spoke with Ted Gagacki today, he is still alive. He is back in Michigan helping his GF clean out her house. Her is also trying to lease his. He will be moving to the Clearwater, Fl area at some point.

Keith's eye surgery went well. I figure when this one is healed and doing well, they will do the other. I sure hope it all comes out all right.

Yes, I do need to slow down and check my writing before I post. Part of it is my texting addiction, part is my brain works faster than my fingers and part is my keyboard is getting stuck. It is NOT because I am a polish, blonde, former cheerleader and sorority girl! LOL

It is nice to see everyone getting along on the blog now. It makes for pleasent reading. I have to say, I LOVE getting on here and reading what you all write. Some write here, some in the guest book. I would really like to read from more of all of you. Even if it just a "hi, this is what happened to me today," or "this is what I am planning on doing...." I know that my dad and Keith have not been very nice to each other, but I PROMISE that they wll be nice to everyone else on here. IF they are not, they will have to answer to me!

I went to a training class today for my new district. It was on how to use the Smart Boards in our classrooms. These are really cool. It is an ineractive computer board that filters through a projector and the kids can come up and do work on it instead of always using pen and paper. I can generate slide shows for their note taking, or show videos, or explain my dad's favorite, The Water Cycle!" Once I get one up and running I will add it here to the blog as a power point so you all can see what I am teaching.

I am still looking for Mr. Right. I know I let the death row inmate go and I know I lost out on that one. I let a good catch go. But I had a lot going on and it was hard to make time to go see him. Ya'll know what I mean? So I am doing an online dating thing and so far the guys that I have talked to are about as good as the death row inmate. My dear old dad may have to come to the realization that he may never get to walk me down the aisle. I would rather be alone than settle for what is out there right now. IF you all have any advice or single men that you want to set me up with, let me know. A girl needs to eat ya know! LOL

Just some thoughts to pass on while I have light enough to see.

1. Even though SWWOW/IECS can't spell very well, even as she is offering to help us with our spelling and grammer, but didn't spell grammer right, her Daddy really shouldn't knock her like that. Bless her little pea-pickin heart she was only trying to do good by us.
2. I think the Rat did an EXCELLENT job with the pictures and captions on the Texoma Reunion! Especially the ones of that good-lookin guy named Keith.
3. I appreciate all the good things rhe Rat said about me. Especially the part where he said he would pay for my hotel room for the next reunion and that everybody should band together to pay for all of my meals.
4. We need to screw around a little with the liberal Obama administration who evidently have not read the 1st Amendment to the Constitution. And that got me to thinking that we need to do something that decides who turns who in to the fools in Washington about "fishy" disinformation and organization of anti-Obama health care plan attacks at town hall meetings. We could just turn each other in and make some headlines. But we have to get organized to see who turns who in. Tex was telling me once about how he goes to those "swinger parties" and they put their car keys in a big bowl and draw em out to see who "gets" who that night. I vote we put Tex in charge of this "fishy swinger-like' thing.

My beautiful daughter has a tendency to get a head of her self and does not check her work before publishing her work. This comes from texting. The younger generation dos not worry about mistakes as long as the other person understands what she is saying. However, having said that, she has a heart of gold and will do anything for any one. She is right about some more of you getting on the blog and communicating with the rest of us. The whole purpose of this exersize was to create a platform for all of us to stay in touch. I know you can find a few minutes a week to get on the site and share something of interest with the rest of us.

I want all of you to start thinking about next year, Lee Bostic went to Gatlinburg a few weeks ago and had a great time. In fact, he is suppose to be posting some information on the blog directly.

I know Danny Briggs is working hard on next year already, when he is awake and not at Sub Way.

Li Cowboy is doing well. I talked t him yesterdy and heis feisty as ever. He can see out of te eye that he had surgey on, so yea to that. He is still stubborn though, no yea on that. BUT....he would not be Lil Cowboy if he was not stubborn.

Hello you handsome men of the Alpha Company. I am truly sorry that I have not been on here in awhile. I was busy packing, then moving here to Texas, then unpacking, then decorating. I was so tired at night I fell into bed and right to sleep. Not to mention I have had a few migraines and some other medical stuff. But all in all, my house looks great....thanks to my dad and mom for helping me.

Dad has put up all the stuff that requires nails, screws, molly bolts and picture hangers. He installed my surround sound and put up my Yankee wall. He even centered my two favorite pictures on the wall behind my bed. This required him standing on the mattress wich as you all know is not that stable. Plus he put up the candle holder on the wall behind my couch, again an unstable work environment. I have to say, my dad still has the energy of a thirty something.

Now, Goober/Lil Cowboy is not as old as my dad and well, lets just say that if I were a stranger watching from afar I would have thought that Goober was down right old! He talked on the phone the majority of the time, he was always sitting down and he had the audacity to assume that I was not strong enough to carry the heavy things into the house. Now I know he thinks that women should be barefoot and pregnant, but I am here to tell you that he is messing with the wrong women. Ask my dad, I have told off men who were complete stangers becasue they made a remark about a women and her palce, or the fact that we should consult them before getting a new haircut. Let this be a warning. If you do not believe me, ask my dad about the stupid man and the pool table. I still curse the guy when I hear his name.

As to the changing of Goober's blog, what the hell is he thinking?? Who the hell knows what his login name is and/or his password? You can not go on someone elses account with that information. I know that Goober is backwoods and has no idea about a lot of new age gadgets, but Jesus, he can not be that stupid. Can he??? LOL

As for Goober knowing were to "pick-up" guys.....for help or what ever other reasons he has for picking up men, I do thank him for the help. BUT I really do think he goes their to pick up guys for personal reasons and I will tell you why. Keith and I have become good friends. He is very helpful and is always making sure that I feel ok. One day I was telling him that not having any of my girlfriends here was really going to suck. I have no one to go see chick flicks with. He said he would go and be my new best girlfriend. ALthough I appreciate the offer, chick flicks are made for chicks. So it was not until last night that I realized that Goober is GAY! He knows were to pick up men, he offered to be my new best girlfriend and last night he texted me from the ball game he was at with his son Kody to tell me that I was his BGFF.

Now you might be thinking to your self what is BGFF? I wondered what it meant too. So I ask him and he texts back, it stands for Best Girl Friend Forever! Either he is way gay or he is a women stuck in a mans body. If that is the case, he should have wished for a better looking body! LOL Hey, I am just calling it as I see it.

I do shave under my arms when A.) once I have unpacked the razor and B.) there is a man around that I want to impress. I have been here with illegals, my folks and Goober. Who the hell do I have to impress? Now if Briggs, or John Martin, or Larry or Neil or even Tex had been around that past few days then I would have gone and bought a disposable razor. Those are guys worth impressing.

Now to set my dad straight. Yes I did laugh my ass off when you came to the glass door looking like and drowned rat. You were soaked and looked like a wet dog after a bath. I only laughed because I love you. You of all people should know that I only laugh at people when they hurt them selves if I love and care about them. Mom is the same way. Don't you remember how hard mom and I laughed at you when you fell off the ladder, or when you got hit by lightening? We loved you so much that we laughed so hard we just about peed our pants. Would you rather have people that come help you, or laugh and just sit and stare?

I still have a lot on my dad and Goober. I will spill the beans slowly. But over all I want to thank Keith for coming out of the closet and picking up some guys to help me move in. I also want to thank my dad for make the two day drive here a blast and a great bonding experience. My dad is the poster boy for the saying, "Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a daddy." Not to mention the days of staying with me and helping me unpack and arrange furniture AND eating my no sodium meals. He is a true saint. Thanks to my mom for always being right and never letting us forget it! LOL

SOMEONE...I KNOW it would NOT have been SWWOW/CS, nor the Daddy Rat HIMSELF!! But somebody has been screwing with my blogs! It had to be either those two or 2-6, and HE has been too busy to even think "blog". All I got to say is this means the truce is over. Disregard all that about "goober". I have one but that doesn't mean I AM one. And I WOULD say disregard those "comments" placed in there about me thanking the Rat for all he has done for me but I can't because he HAS done a lot. But for someone to start changing the wording of stuff written freely to others is Iranistic. Kind of like that so-called "election" for our Company Sweetheart. But WHOEVER did this better be watching the blog 24/7 cause it looks like the treaty is broken and I need to add a few little tidbits that none of you would have otherwise known about. There might even be a hint or two about nomenclatures thrown out here and there.
