Since 1st Sgt Tex is still asleep after a wild Saturday night at the Cajun Cowboy, and the CO is still sleeping till 1000 hrs every morning, I have taken it upon myself to give you all the morning situation report:
Romeo Alpha Tango is still too busy chasing sheep to nail down the reunion dates. Situation remains the same.
Tango Echo Xray is still too busy chasing playboy bunnies at the Cajun Cowboy to find out from Romeo Alpha Tango when the reunion dates are. Situation remains the same.
And because Romeo Alpha Tango and Tango Echo Xray are too busy chasing furry animals, the Mike Echo November of Alpha Lima Papa Hotel Alpha are Seirra Oscar Lima. Situation remains the same.

As for the location of my new place, I can only say it ain't easy finding a place in Texas with a normal name. I can only imagine how these names came about. And you should all be aware that the Cowboy lived all over east Texas before I got here.

The Rat did somehow manage to find a nice place to call his own in Texas. It has good pasture to raise his sheep on and lots of woods for them to hide from him in. When we were down there the other day he told me he looked at a place in Dyke, Texas, but he said there was no way he was gonna live in a place called Dyke. So he bought this place between Tool and Prickman. Go figure!

Good morning Alpha Co. It feels so different not setting the alarm to get up and go to work. I think this unemployment thing might not be too bad, except for the pay! Leaving for Rhode Island today to see my son, getting excited! I have never been east, so it will all be new for me and my wife. Time is also flying by for the reunion!! OK EVERYONE, THE DATES FOR THE REUNION ARE CHANGED TO OCTOBER 1-2. WE HAD TO DO THIS DUE TO OTHER HAPPENINGS IN GATLINBURG. I WILL POST ACCOMADATIONS THIS WEEKEND SO YA'LL CAN MAKE MAKE PLANS. SORRY FOR THE INCONVIENENCE. SO YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON, WE WILL HAVE A BUFFET AT THE HOTEL SATURDAY EVENING WITH A 7 CARD STUD POKER TOURNEMENT AFTER DINNER. THE RAFFLE WILL BE HELD AT THE END OF THE TOURNEMENT. WE HAVE SOME GOOD STUFF THIS YEAR.

Good morning Alpha Co. It's been a while since I've written,with a lot of things happening. I just got laid off from work last week, and I have been scratching my head as what to do. It does seem kind of nice having some time off, but it will be different when it's supposed to be time to go back to work. We had a family run Service Station since before I got drafted, and gas forced us out in 2003, and my brother started his own repair garage after that, and I went to work for him. Due to Michigan's economy, people can.t afford to fix their cars anymore. Anybody looking for help from a tired old vet? I have a meeting with a program this morning called Vet Success,and it is quite a program. If any of you brothers have not heard about it, you should really look into it. They will do whatever they can to help us. My youngest son graduates from ODS in Rhoad Island next week and my wife and me are going out there for his graduation. It is an officer development school for the U.S.Navy. Rat, could you check on the dates for the reunion. On the web page you have a different date than the E-mail you sent me. Thanks! Dutch
